20 & Counting: Newcomer William Michael Morgan Can’t Get Enough of the Opry

Warner Music NashvilleJust as he’s on the verge of having his first top ten hit, William Michael Morgan is paying a visit to the show that made country music famous. The Mississippi native is set to play the Grand Ole Opry Friday night, bringing the number of times he’s stepped onto the iconic stage close to 20 in the past 12 months.

The neo-traditionalist broke through with his classic country take on the Sam Hunt composition “I Met a Girl.” WMM’s debut album, Vinyl, comes out September 30.
