8 Million Copies Later, George’s "Strait Out of the Box" Gets a Sequel

MCA Nashville Strait out of the Box was a huge hit, selling more than eight million copies since it came out in 1995 -- and now it’s getting a sequel.

George Strait will release a new three-disc, 56-track collection November 18 exclusively at Walmart, appropriately titled Strait out of the Box:  Part 2. The new set picks up where the previous one left off, gathering 36 hit singles, including 26 number ones, two new songs, and 18 album cuts King George picked himself.

His latest single “Goin’ Goin’ Gone” is one of the new tunes. You can pre-order Strait out of the Box:  Part 2 now.
