While both candidates are very different, Lee Anderson believes it’s his experience in leadership roles that won over voters in this runoff. Still he knows the campaign’s not over yet.
“I feel good. I feel good. It’s just been a long battle,” Anderson told WJBF NewsChannel 6.
In the May elections, Anderson won 6 out of the 8 counties in District 24 that he will represent in Atlanta, Ga.
During Tuesday’s runoff crowded by family, friends, and supporter Anderson patiently watched the votes come in. Anderson a farmer, school board member, and former Columbia County Commissioner says making the best decision for the people comes down to experience.
