Body located by Dive Teams on Lake Hartwell

South Carolina authorities have confirmed divers and search teams on Tuesday morning located the body of a man who went under water but never resurfaced at Lake Hartwell.
The incident occurred at Singing Pines on Highway 29 in Starr at 8:46 p.m. Monday.
Family members said 24-year-old Juber Lemus was enjoying a picnic with friends when he went for a swim. Lemus went under the water and never resurfaced.
Search Crews spent the night in the water searching for Lemus and additional crews searched Tuesday morning.
Just after 11:15 a.m. officials announced that divers had located a man’s body and that body had been recovered.
The coroner has not yet confirmed the identity or released a cause of death.
