Bowman Council Meets This Evening

The Bowman City Council will hold its regular meeting this evening and is scheduled to hear a report from Mayor Mark Berryman on the city’s contract with the Bowman Public Library.
Last month, the council voted to table a decision on renewing the annual library contract over a proposed $220 increase in the cost to the city. According to Monday’s agenda, the mayor will also provide updates on the city’s comprehensive plan and selections for the Personnel Committee.
City Attorney Richard Campbell will report on property at 89 E. Church St. and Bowman Community Center policy. Council members will also hear reports on Bowman beautification and special events and from the Public Works Department, the city clerk and the library.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Monday at Bowman City Hall.
