Brett Eldredge "smokes out" Chicago, with a record-setting performance in his home state

Warner Music NashvilleIllinois native Brett Eldredge set a one-day attendance record this past Saturday, as he returned to the Windy City Smokeout in Chicago.

“I played the very first Windy City Smokeout five years ago and I knew coming back for my third time would be very special,” Brett reflects. “Chicago brought an energy like nothing I’ve every felt! That moment of looking out at the crowd and the Chicago skyline is something I’ll never forget.”

More than 18,000 people turned out for the festival on Saturday, with Brett delivering the title track from his second record, Illinois, and the Chicago Cubs’ theme song, in addition to his collection of hits.
