Bus Driver Saves Disabled Passanger Before Bus Bursts into Flames

Kevin Imm(NEW YORK) — A bus driver is credited for saving the life of a disabled passenger right before the vehicle he was driving burst into flames.

The Nassau Inter County Express bus caught fire Thursday on Long Island, New York, while transporting a passenger in a wheelchair and her aide, WABC-TV reports.

The driver was able to safely evacuate the two passengers and no one was injured.

Video shows fire crews quickly putting out the blaze, but not before leaving a smoldering pile of ash.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to WABC.
