Fatal Wreck on Hwy 77 North

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a fatal accident involving a sheriffs patrol car on hwy 77 @ approx 6pm Saturday evening. The Elbert County Corner’s office has identified the victim as Heather Payton, 31,who died in the crash on Saturday afternoon. Payton is listed as having an Elberton Address.
