Chris Lane takes victory "Laps Around the Sun" with new album

Big Loud Chris Lane’s latest Laps Around the Sun are going pretty well.

Since the release of his sophomore album on Friday, it has consistently occupied the #1 spot on the iTunes Top Country Albums chart, and so far, the record’s already been streamed more than 200 million times.

At the same time, the lead single from the 14-song collection, “Take Back Home Girl,” is nearing country’s top five. Tuesday morning, Chris and pop star Tori Kelly got together to sing their hit during Chris’s Today show debut.

It’s one of the few times the two have actually gotten to perform the tune together. If you missed the live version of “Take Back Home Girl,” you can check it out online.
