Confirmed: New Miranda Lambert Single, "Vice," Coming Monday

Courtesy of RCA NashvilleWell, that didn’t take long.  Less than a day after Miranda Lambert last teased that her new single would be out Monday, we got confirmation this morning.

Titled “Vice,” the single will be released to country radio Monday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. ET, 2:00 p.m. CT.

Miranda’s been teasing the release all week after promising new music at last month’s CMA Music Festival.  Her most recent tease was Thursday, when she shared a black-and-white Instagram photo of her placing the needle on a vinyl 45.  If you look carefully, you can just make out the word “Vice” on the label.  The photo caption is only a date: July 18, this Monday.

Miranda’s most recent release, “Smokin’ and Drinkin’,” featured Little Big Town and came out more than a year ago. It’s one of the tracks on her fifth album, Platinum, which was released in June of 2014.
