Court Date Set For Man Who Shot At Lavonia Cops

A court date has been set for November 6th, in the shooting of two Lavonia Officers.

It’s been 10 months since 22-year-old Khari Anthony Dashaun Gordon of Greenville, South Carolina allegedly shot two Lavonia police officers during a traffic stop at Zaxby’s on Jones Street and fled the scene.

Hours later Gordon was arrested and since that time has been going through the pretrial process The trial has been set for November 6th in Superior Court.

Gordon is accused of shooting Jeffrey Martin and Michael Schulman with a .45 caliber handgun on the evening of December 12, 2016. He faces charges of four counts of aggravated assault on a police officer, four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of aggravated battery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and theft by bringing stolen merchandise into the state.
