Dad-Fest 2016: Brett Eldredge Plans a Father’s Day Party on the Road

Warner Music NashvilleBrett Eldredge may be busy on Keith Urban's Ripcord World Tour on Father's Day, but he's figured out a way to make his dad feel special.

"I'm gonna take my dad on the bus. I'm gonna take him and have a big Dad-fest and just show Dad how much I love him, because I'll be on the road unfortunately on Father's Day. And I was on the road on Mother's Day…My dad knows how much I love him. I try to remind him all the time.”

The “Wanna Be That Song” singer says he has no doubt his dad is one of the main reasons he's up there in the spotlight.

“You know, he was loading up the minivan with speakers and, you know, whenever I needed music help or anything, he'd find somebody to help me. And he was just pushing me into saying, 'You got the goods to do this!' I think it takes a person like that, and I try to model myself after my dad every day.”
