Legendary duo The Judds will be immortalized in a new exhibit opening next month at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The display, titled Dream Chasers, will debut August 10 in Nashville.
“The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is sacred ground, regarded with reverence and respect,” Naomi Judd reflects. “I am so overjoyed to have The Judds’ career encapsulated in this new exhibit. I’m so proud of all the success Wynonna has accomplished and we owe everything to the fans who welcomed The Judds music into their homes.”
“I am truly humbled and grateful… What an honor,” daughter Wynonna adds.
In addition to awards, musical instruments and significant manuscripts, Dream Chasers will showcase the nurse's uniform Naomi wore before hitting it big, as well as the velvet jacket Wynonna sported at the duo’s farewell concert in 1991. The exhibit is set to run through July 14, 2019.
While both Wynonna and Naomi are recognized as country music royalty, The Judds have yet to be chosen to be inducted as members of the Hall of Fame.
