Early Voting Numbers in City of Elberton Races

As of Wednesday afternoon 63 votes had been cast in early voting in the city of Elberton. On the Ballot is the Elberton Mayor’s race and the Ward 5 race.

The polls are open for early voters from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at city hall in the city clerk’s office for Elberton voters and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at city hall in the council’s chambers for Bowman voters, with both cities closing at 12 for a one hour lunch break. Election day for both the City of Elberton and the City of Bowman will be Tuesday, Nov. 7 with the polls being open from 7 a.m. to 7
p.m. in both Elberton and Bowman.  The candidates in the race for Elberton mayor’s race are incumbent Larry Guest and Mike Fernandez. Running for the Elberton Ward 5 city council seat is incumbent Joel Seymour and Kyle Parham.  Bowman voters will vote their choice in the mayoral election of incumbent Betty Joe Maxwell against current council member Mark Berryman.
