Harlow named Chief Nursing Officer at Elbert Memorial

Elbert Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Tammy Harlow, Chief Nursing Officer. Ms. Harlow joined EMH in September and has been very busy getting to know her Nursing Staff and making sure they are providing exceptional care to our patients. She has twenty plus years of success inspiring teams and boosting performance through people-focused hospital administration.
She is a seasoned health care executive with the ability to balance strategic decisions and financial discipline with hands on approach to leadership. She applies strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills to solve complex problems with outstanding work ethic. Her core strengths include: Strategic Planning and Execution, budget management, time management skills, process improvement strategies, change management team building and motivation, lean six sigma – master black belt certified, and flexible and dedicated.
Hospital CEO Kerry Trapnell says, “We are extremely fortunate to have Tammy Harlow join our Leadership Team. She has a strong background in Nursing Administration, and we are honored to have someone of her caliber with us.”
Prior to coming to Elbert Memorial Hospital, Ms. Harlow was Director of Nursing at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and Master of Science in Nursing and Business Administration Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix.
