Jake Owen Feels the "Love" Celebrating His Latest Number One on the Cumberland

Courtesy Jake OwenJake Owen celebrated the sixth number one of his career by wake surfing Nashville’s Cumberland River over the Labor Day weekend. “American Country Love Song” claims the top spot this week on both the Billboard and Mediabase charts.

“Our Love Bus Road Trip was the beginning of the journey with this song and the music video,” the Florida native recalls. “It really was a life-changing time for me. Now, to see this song go all the way to number one… is just a great way to end the summer. Let’s raise a glass!” he adds.

Next up, Jake has a date with Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday, September 21. He’ll play both his latest chart topper and a few more songs from his album American Love on Jimmy Kimmel Live!’s Hollywood stage. You can catch the show at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
