Jennifer Nettles Follows "CMA Country Christmas" and "Christmas of Many Colors" with Her Own Holiday Special

ABC/Mark LevineJennifer Nettles has already been a part of at least two major network holiday specials this year, but on Tuesday night, she takes it one step further, as she gets one all to herself.

Band Against Cancer Presents Jennifer Nettles: ‘Tis the Season was recorded earlier this month at the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and features songs from Jennifer’s new To Celebrate Christmas project.

“I love the more robust Christmas songs,” she reveals. “I love 'O Come O Come Emmanuel.' It's not on this record, but I love it. I love 'O Holy Night,' which is on this record!”

While Jennifer’s album also includes guest performances by R&B phenomenon Andra Day and Broadway actress Idina Menzel, you can look for her to recreate her own finest solo moment during the hour-long concert.

“There's a beautiful, very intimate and emotional version of 'The First Noel' that is probably, in terms of non-collaborations, probably my favorite song and my favorite performance of the album,” Jennifer says. “… It's really intimate and I think it really captures what that song is about.”

Jennifer Nettles:  ‘Tis the Season premieres Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET on AXS TV, and repeats throughout the holiday season, starting at 11 p.m. that same evening.
