Kane Brown achieves chart milestone with "Experiment"

Sony Music NashvilleKane Brown finds himself on the top of two charts this week with the success of his sophomore album, Experiment. The singer debuted at number one on the all-genre Billboard 200 and Billboard Top Country Albums charts this week with 124,000 units sold.

The singer is the third country artist this year to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, following Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean. Additionally, Kane is the only male country artist in 24 years to debut at the top of the Billboard 200 chart with a sophomore release. Kane becomes the only male artist in the format since Tim McGraw accomplished the feat 24 years ago.

Kane co-wrote 12 of the 13 tracks featured on Experiment.  Produced by Dann Huff, the album was released Nov. 9.
