Kelsea Ballerini Brings Fans One of Her "Favorite Things" for Christmas

ABC/Mark LevineKelsea Ballerini says she definitely sees a Christmas album in her future at some point, but until then, the “Yeah Boy” hitmaker is giving us a little something to tide us over. This holiday season, she’s releasing her version of “My Favorite Things,” accompanied by jazz piano prodigy Joey Alexander.

“He is so incredibly talented and, more so, so humble,” she says of the 13-year-old. “Being in the studio and listening to him play so effortlessly over and over really challenged me to be my best. I’m so excited for people to hear this!”

You’ll be able to download Kelsea’s take on the tune from The Sound of Music at digital retailers on Friday, just ahead of the pair’s performance on CMA Country Christmas on Monday. You can catch the premiere of this year’s annual special at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
