Kenny Chesney breaks One Direction’s record at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium

Allister AnnKenny Chesney set a new record this weekend at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium, playing for more than 55,000 fans in Music City.  Kenny's Trip Around the Sun Music City tour stop surpasses the number of tickets sold by One Direction in 2014, when close to 54,000 fans filled the home of the Tennessee Titans.

“When they sing the chorus of ‘American Kids,’” he adds, “you can feel they know that song in a whole other way -- and it’s incredible to hear that much passion and energy coming at the stage.”
