"Manly man" Blake Shelton is behind Gwen Stefani’s “more feminine” style choices

In a new interview with pal Heidi Klum for the August issue of InStyle, the singer says she’s less of a tomboy than she used to be thanks to dating “manly man” Blake.

“More feminine than ever before,” she answers when asked to describe her current style. “It’s probably because I’m super in love and have a really manly man.”

She adds, “I enjoy letting that part of me come out now because when I was in No Doubt, I never thought of myself as sexy. Even in my 30s, I was a tomboy. I hardly ever carried a purse.”

Gwen says the favorite outfit she’s ever worn is also connected to Blake. It’s the red Yanina Couture dress she wore to the Vanity Fair Oscar party in 2016. It was the first time she and Blake stepped out as a couple; she calls it a “magical night.”
