A native of LaGrange, Georgia, Ms. Williams was the daughter of the late Hanley Talton and Cora Fowler Smallwood. She worked throughout her life in the textile industry.
Ms. Williams is survived by two children: Robert Bradley and his wife, Gina, of Tignall, and Gina Witcher and her husband, Bo, of Elberton; three grandchildren: Kason Bradley, Brittany Witcher, and Brandon Witcher; and two great-grandchildren, Rylan Nolan and Braxton Bradley. She also leaves behind three sisters: Peggy Ware, Marie Willingham, and Margaret Simmons; two brothers, Charles Smallwood and Leonard Knight; and numerous other relatives. Mary Ann had a special love for pet Chihuahua, PeeWee.
A service to celebrate Ms. Williams’ life will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 3:45 p.m. in The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home in Elberton. Interment will follow at Tignall Baptist Church Cemetery in Tignall, Georgia, with Scotty Ware, Brandon Witcher, Bo Witcher, Kason Bradley, Terry Nix, and Stacy Ware serving as pallbearers. Ryan Nolan will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
A time of visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home. Flowers will be graciously accepted.
