As a Grammy-winning duo, husband and wife Joey + Rory released a handful of heartfelt country and gospel albums. Now, Joey Feek will make her solo country debut, just over a year after her death at age 40 from stage 4 cervical cancer. On April 7, Gaither Music Group will release If Not for You, a traditional country LP the late singer actually recorded in 2005.

Newcomer Brett Young has topped Vevo’s Country Chart with “In Case You Didn’t Know” for the third consecutive week. The song’s video was filmed at The Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga and chronicles Brett as he makes his way to the stage for an intimate performance.

Tonight’s Opry Country Classics will shine an artist spotlight on prime country hitmaker Steve Wariner. Others scheduled to perform on the legendary stage are Larry Gatlin, Chris Janson, Jeannie Seely and Amber Digby.

Speaking of the Opry: it’s newest member, Crystal Gayle, recently talked songwriting on AXS TV’s The Big Interview with Dan Rather.
