Nashville notes

The Academy of Country Music has named Nashville's Ryman Auditorium its Small Capacity Venue of the Year, and Music City’s Bridgestone Arena its Large Capacity Venue of the Year. Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre takes home the Medium Venue prize. The awards will officially be passed out this August at the Ryman during the 11th Annual ACM Honors.

Newcomer Jacob Davis made his Grand Ole Opry debut this past Friday. You can check out the video for his debut single, “What I Wanna Be” -- which was shot in his native Louisiana -- on YouTube.
