"Nashville" Set to Return on CMT Ahead of Schedule

CMTIf you can’t wait for the premiere of Nashville, the good news is -- you won’t have to! CMT, the drama’s new home, will preview the first hour of season five on December 15, ahead of the full two-hour episode’s official air date on January 5. Both air in Nashville’s new time slot, Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.

You can also get an early preview via a new trailer on YouTube. Though the first half is largely a recap of last season, the final minute teases a new love interest for Maddie after she returns home with Rayna and Deacon, fireworks between Gunnar and Scarlett, and the answer to what happened to Juliette after her plane disappeared.
