One Fan’s Guitar Chops Turn Out to Be a "Good Thing" for Keith Urban

Capitol NashvilleThis weekend on tour in New Hampshire, Keith Urban gave one talented fan a night he’ll never forget. While Robert Joyce’s girlfriend held a sign announcing his birthday, according to Billboard, the aspiring musician also hoisted one that read “Can I play your guitar?”

That proved to be enough to land Joyce on stage with the Aussie superstar, and when he handed over his guitar, the up-and-comer really delivered, dueting with Keith on the track “Good Thing.”

The “Wasted Time” hitmaker was so impressed with the audience member’s performance he sent him a personal video message after the show, offering up a “massive shout-out of awesomeness to Rob, who killed it on guitar.”

You can check out both Rob’s guitar-playing and Keith’s shout-out on Facebook.
