One More Night: Kenny Chesney Extends His Boston Run in Response to Demand

ABC/Image Group LA It looks like one night just won’t be enough for Kenny Chesney next summer at the home of the New England Patriots. Since he’s not planning to tour next year, his August 25 show was to be his only stadium date of 2017. Now, due to demand, he’s adding August 26 as well.

“I said I was going to take some time and lay low, but obviously a summer without Boston just isn’t the same,” Kenny explains. “And when they came back asking about another show due to the response and said, ‘You’re already going to have the stage and everything in place…,’ what else could I say? So this will be my only stadium play, but it will be two nights instead of one.”

Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion will open both nights at Gillette Stadium, with seats for both shows going on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. ET.
