Police charge Bowman man with drug possession

Elberton Police have charged a Bowman resident with drug possession and other offenses following a February 3 traffic stop at the intersection of Elbert and Church Streets.
Mark Darin Outz, age 48, was charged by officers with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug-related objects, driving on a suspended license, expired tag and defective equipment.
Outz was released from the Elbert County Detention Center on $18,500 bond.
