Craig Campbell’s wife Mindy stars in the new lyric video for his single, “See You Try.” It’s the first new music from the Georgia native since 2016’s “Outskirts of Heaven.”
“I feel like it was well worth the wait on my end, and I’m hoping the fans will feel the same way,” Craig says. “I believe in divine providence and I feel like this song was meant for me, so I’m excited, and I feel like this is a game-changer.”
The sexy “See You Try” follows a woman who’s trying to pull her man away from a night with the guys. Even though Craig and Mindy have been together for more than a dozen years, he can still relate to the situation.
“When I’m doing my thing with my friends and she’s ready to leave, I love for her to try to convince me,” he says. “Like ‘Hey, it’s time to go. And if you go with me right now, then this is gonna happen.’ Even though we’ve been married for a little while now, I still get excited when she does those things.”
“See You Try” is one of several current singles co-written by Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, including FGL’s “Meant to Be” with Bebe Rexha, Jason Aldean’s “You Make It Easy,” and Granger Smith’s “Happens Like That.”
