Sheriff announces five meth possession arrests

Elbert County Sheriff Melvin Andrews has announced the arrests of five individuals on drug possession charges over the weekend.
Billy Thomas Studdard of a Whiteside Drive, Elberton, address was charged Saturday with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, felony tampering with evidence, felony probation violation, possession and use of drug-related objects and obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers.
Tammy Josephine Booth, age 57, of a Seaboard Street, Elberton, address was charged Friday with possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a Schedule III, IV or V controlled substance with intent to distribute, prescription drugs not in their original containers and possession and use of drug-related objects.
Adrianna Lee Booth, age 29, of Dewy Rose was charged Friday with possession of methamphetamine.
Robert French Jr., age 44, of a Bobby Brown State Park Road, Elberton, address was charged Friday with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession and use of drug-related objects and a tail light violation.
Tyler Allen Fleming, age 24, of Dewy Rose was charged Friday with possession of methamphetamine and felony probation violation.
