Solar Eclipse Program Coming To Library

The Elbert County Library invites children and their parents to attend a Solar Eclipse Art Program on Saturday, August 19 at 10:30a.m. in the library’s multi-purpose room. Children will have the opportunity to use their imagination to create what they anticipate the solar eclipse will look like using dark construction paper and colored chalk. Another project will use light sensitive paper (while the supply lasts) to make pictures using leaves, sticks, small man-made objects and the Sun’s rays. Parents of children 8 years of age and under should be prepared to sit with their children while they create. We will all have a good time together! This event is free and open to the public. Call 706-283-5375 for more information.
