There’s no female country artist "Stronger Than…" Reba McEntire

Big MachineReba McEntire’s new album, Stronger Than the Truth, debuts at #4 this week on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, and helps the Country Music Hall of Famer set a new record.

This is Reba’s 27th top ten on the album chart, giving her the most top ten albums of any country female in the years since she first debuted in the top ten in 1986. Dolly Parton and Trisha Yearwood follow with 14 apiece.

Reba also ties Alan Jackson’s record, making her second only to George Strait, who’s placed 37 albums in the top ten.

The Oklahoma native scored her first top ten album 33 years ago, in April of 1986, with Whoever’s in New England.
