Thomas Rhett’s Million-Selling Saturday-Night Surprise

BMLGFor Thomas Rhett, it may’ve seemed like just another amped-up Saturday night opening for Jason Aldean on the Six String Circus tour. But last weekend’s stop in Irvine, California, held a little something extra in store. Backstage, TR’s team surprised him with the news his sophomore album has officially sold a million copies.

“It’s crazy to think about all the fans who are taking this journey with me and are helping make things like this happen,” Thomas says. “I’ve had an amazing year already, but finding out the album went platinum is one of the coolest moments so far.”

Tangled Up already boasts three chart-topping singles, including Thomas Rhett’s double-platinum smash, “Die a Happy Man.” The fourth single, “Vacation,” is climbing the charts now.
