Tucker Beathard Ready to "Rock On" in College Towns This Fall

Courtesy of Dot RecordsJust as Tucker Beathard is enjoying his first top-ten hit with “Rock On,” the newcomer is mapping out his first headlining club tour this fall.

With a grandfather who was a longtime general manager in the NFL and two brothers who are both star quarterbacks, it seems natural that Tucker would find his inspiration on the gridiron. ESPN broke the news of the trek on Thursday, which will hit college towns in the Big Ten Conference, starting in Champaign, Illinois, on October 13.

“If I learned anything from growing up on a field surrounded by coaches and athletes,” Tucker says, “it’s that you have to keep your head down and keep practicing. Two hundred shows later, and I think we are ready to go tackle our first club tour…There’s no place better than a college town in the fall!”

So far this year, Tucker’s been busy opening Dierks Bentley’s Somewhere on a Beach tour.

Aubrie Sellers, who happens to be the daughter of CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Lee Ann Womack, will open the Rock On College Tour, with tickets going on sale Friday.
