Two Dead After Active Shooter Reported at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas

iStock/Thinkstock(SAN ANTONIO) — Two people are dead after an active shooter was reported at the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said.

Joint Base San Antonio, which includes Lackland Air Force Base, said it's "a real world active shooter situation" and that the base is on lockdown.

The FBI, the Air Force and local authorities are responding to the scene.
