Two Dozen Injured in Apartment Complex Explosion in Maryland

Montgomery County (MD) Fire & Rescue Service(SILVER SPRING, Md.) — Two dozen people were injured in a three-alarm fire and possible explosion at a residential apartment complex in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Emergency crews report at least 20 to 25 injuries, including two firefighters.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the scene just before midnight and continues to battle a blaze that caused structural collapse in one building and damaged several others.
