Watch now: Riley Green takes "There Was This Girl" nationwide on TV debut

BMLGNewcomer Riley Green has his first top fifteen hit with his debut single, “There Was This Girl,” which is only poised to get bigger now that he’s made his national TV debut.

The Alabama native made his first nationwide appearance Monday on the 10 a.m. hour of Today with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.  During his segment, he explained that his grandparents finally think he’s famous now that he’s made his Grand Ole Opry debut.

Riley has another big Opry appearance coming up on Tuesday. He’ll play the sold-out Opry NextStage launch party and concert January 8 at Ole Red Nashville.
