Well Known Hartwell Businessman Dies from injuries in head on collision

Well known Hartwell businessman Fletcher Seabolt has died as the result of injuries received in a Monday evening vehicle accident.

Seabolt, 81 was the founder and owner of the Dairy Queen in Hartwell, On Monday morning the other vehicle driver died, he was identified as Chadwick Floyd, age 43 of Royston.

The accident was a two pick-up head on collision on Anderson Highway 29 North, near Hartwell Home Depot Monday morning at around 7:34am. Hart County Coroner Mike Adams, Georgia State Patrol, Hart County Sheriff’s Department, Hart County Fire Department and the Hart County EMS all responded to the incident. The road remained blocked to traffic for several hours.
