Why "Nashville"’s Charles Esten Wants a Date with You #EverySingleFriday

ABCIf you’re a fan of the TV show Nashville and you’ve wondered why the man who plays Deacon Claybourne has never released an album of original material himself, it turns out you’re not alone. Charles Esten has been thinking along those same lines, and he’s about to change all that.

The only thing is, he won’t be releasing a traditional project. Instead, he’ll be putting out a new song every Friday, starting today with the tune “Through the Blue.” He’s calling it #EverySingleFriday, and he vows to continue the tradition until he “runs out of music he feels like releasing.”

Esten previewed his first release on social media on Thursday. You’ll be able to download the track via the usual digital outlets.
