According to a press release issued by Elbert County Administrator Allen Hulme, Bobby Brown Park is launching a new and improved website to better serve park visitor's needs.

The county recently unveiled the new user-friendly website for Bobby Brown Park, which is designed expressly for visitors and residents to learn about the park’s many activities and amenities and to reserve campground spaces, yurts and the Petersburg cabin.

From the home page, which can be found at BobbyBrownPark.com, site visitors can quickly access information about the camping and cabin choices, 3-D archery course, disc golf course and other activities. The site also provides information on how to become a Friend of Bobby Brown Park.

The site homepage opens with large, stunning photos of the park environment, and includes an events calendar for such annual events as the Catfish Tournament and the Spring Market. Pages for camping, yurts and the cabin include details on rates, policies, how to make reservations, and the ability to download a campground map.

Two of the most popular activities at the park, 3-D archery and disc golf, have dedicated pages with information on rates, game rules, and a course diagram (for archery).

The site also includes information about trails, picnic shelters, boating on Clarks Hill Lake, the swinging bridge, and the Danny Guthrie Pavilion.

Convenient buttons at the bottom of each page connect visitors to the reservations portal, to current weather conditions and current lake level.

“We are thrilled to launch a digital showcase for our own Bobby Brown Park,” said Lee Vaughn, Chairman of the Elbert County Board of Commissioners. “Our new website is another step in upgrading the park since Elbert County took it over from Georgia State Parks. The new website will make it easier for visitors to book a stay or an activity there, and to spend some time in Elbert County."
